Single Storey Extension in Sale Nearing Completion
Our Sale extension and refurbishment project has now entered its final stages, with second fix works progressing well throughout the property. The transformation is becoming increasingly apparent, both inside and out, as the project moves closer to completion.
External Tiled Finish Complete
The distinctive tiled exterior is now complete, creating a contemporary finish that complements the original property while giving the extension its own character. The combination of terracotta roof tiles, matching wall tiling and anthracite-framed glazing delivers a clean, cohesive appearance from every angle.
The completed external detailing highlights the quality of the workmanship and the attention given to every element of the build.
Second Fix Well Underway
Inside, the project has progressed significantly since our last update. Following plastering, second fix joinery and electrical works are now underway, with light fittings installed and final electrical connections continuing throughout the extension.
The vaulted ceiling, exposed timber beams and high-level glazing continue to define the main living space, filling the room with natural light and creating an impressive sense of height.
Flooring and Kitchen Installation Progressing
The herringbone flooring has now been laid throughout the new open-plan space, providing a strong foundation for the final finishes. Kitchen installation has also begun, with the base units and island taking shape.
With each stage completed, the finished layout becomes easier to appreciate, and the extension is beginning to reflect the homeowners’ vision for a bright, modern family living space.
What Comes Next
With plasterboarding done and first fix complete, the plasterers are next on site. Once plastering is finished, the project moves into second fix, including joinery, electrics and plumbing, followed by flooring, decoration and final finishes.
